Itinerary
Day 1 | Hotel Majestic, Prague
Prague Historic Center
Upon arrival at the airport, meet your English-speaking guide and transfer by bus to your hotel in Prague. After some time to refresh, embark on the first part of your afternoon walking tour of Prague’s historic center. Highlights include the Astronomical Clock, Wenceslas Square, and the Royal Way of the Old Town leading to Charles Bridge. Explore the magnificent Old Town Square, framed by the twin spires of Tyn Church, the Gothic tower of the old town hall, and Kilian Dientzenhofer’s baroque Church of Saint Nicholas. Conclude your day with a delightful dinner together at a nearby local restaurant. D
Day 2 | Hotel Majestic, Prague
Prague Castle
Start your day by meeting your guide and boarding the bus for a transfer to the Prague Castle area. Enjoy a walking tour focused on the Prague Castle and the stunning St. Vitus Cathedral. After the city tour, your guide will leave, giving you the rest of the day to explore at your leisure. Enjoy lunch on your own, taking in the local flavors and atmosphere. In the evening, delight in a special Mozart Dinner in Prague, blending fine dining with classical music for a memorable experience. B, D
Day 3 | Hotel Majestic, Prague
Plzen
Transfer to Plzen, the world-renowned city famous for its beer. Begin with a walking city tour of Plzen, the Metropolis of West Bohemia and the fourth largest city in the Czech Republic. Founded by Czech king Wenceslas II in 1295, Plzen is an important industrial, commercial, cultural, and administrative center situated at the crossroads of two major trade routes. Enjoy lunch together at a restaurant in the brewery with a 3-course meal. Afterward, take a tour of the Pilsner Urquell brewery, including a tasting of unfiltered and unpasteurized Pilsner Urquell beer tapped directly from lager oak barrels in the historic cellars. B, L

Cesky Krumlov
Begin your day with a transfer to the picturesque town of Cesky Krumlov for a walking tour, exploring its medieval charm. After a 3-course lunch at a local restaurant, continue to Vienna and check into your elegant centrally located hotel. Austria’s capital stretches along the Danube and features a stunning mix of Baroque and Art Nouveau architecture. The city’s historical buildings and vibrant culture in its concert halls, opera houses, and cozy cafés offer a perfect blend of history and modern charm.
Day 5 | Hotel Stefanie, Vienna
Vienna Center and Schönbrunn Palace
Dive into the heart of Vienna with a morning walking tour, marveling at iconic sites like the Albertina, Hofburg, Kohlmarkt, Graben, and St. Stephen’s Cathedral, as well as the medieval areas around Mozart’s house. Experience the charm of the city with a delightful 40-minute horse carriage ride through its center. Enjoy a group lunch at a local restaurant before heading to Schönbrunn Palace for an audio-guided Imperial tour of 22 magnificent rooms. Day 6 | Hotel Stefanie, Vienna
Melk Abbey and Dürnstein
Visit the stunning Melk Abbey, a masterpiece of Baroque architecture perched high above the Danube River, renowned for its magnificent library and ornate church. Afterward we enjoy a delightful lunch at a local agrotourism facility, featuring the regional specialty, apricot dumplings. Following lunch, tour a local distillery and indulge in a tasting session. Continue to the charming town of Dürnstein in the heart of the Wachau Valley, famous for its picturesque streets and the ruins of the castle where Richard the Lionheart was imprisoned. Day 7 | Hotel Mercure, Budapest
Bratislava
Set off for Bratislava, the vibrant capital of Slovakia, one of Europe’s youngest capitals. Begin with a bus tour showcasing the city’s highlights, followed by a walking tour through the historic streets. Enjoy a 3-course lunch at a local restaurant. Bratislava, once known as Pressburg or Pozsony, was a key city in the Austro-Hungarian Empire and a melting pot of cultures. Located on the banks of the Danube and at the crossroads of ancient trading routes, it has long been a meeting point for various cultures. The city’s golden era was during the reign of Maria Theresa, crowned Queen of Hungary in St. Martin’s Cathedral, along with ten other kings and eight royal consorts over 300 years. After lunch, transfer to Budapest to continue your Central European adventure. B, L
Day 8 | Hotel Mercure, Budapest
Budapest
Start your adventure in Budapest with a city tour focusing on the vibrant Pest side. Visit iconic sites and the bustling Grand Market Hall, where you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy lunch on your own amidst a variety of local delicacies. In the afternoon, shift your exploration to the historic Buda side, including entrances to the magnificent Matthias Church and the picturesque Fisherman’s Bastion. End your day with a relaxing visit to the famous Gellert Bath, soaking in the thermal waters and enjoying the beautiful Art Nouveau architecture. B
Day 9 | Hotel Mercure, Budapest
Esztergom and Visegrád
Venture to the historic towns of Esztergom and Visegrád, where you’ll immerse yourself in rich history and stunning architecture. Enjoy a delightful lunch at a local restaurant before returning to Budapest for an afternoon of free time to explore at your leisure. In the evening, embark on a 1.5-hour private Danube cruise with dinner, capturing the breathtaking views of Budapest’s illuminated landmarks from the water. B, L, D
Day 10
Depart for Home
Enjoy a final breakfast at the hotel before checking out. Meet your guide and bus for your transfer to Budapest Airport. Upon arrival, bid farewell to your guide and driver. Board your return flight back home, carrying with you the wonderful memories of your Central European adventure. B

Flights
Tour members will fly into Prague (PRG) and out of Budapest (BUD). Tour will begin early afternoon of September 18 and end the morning of September 27, 2025. Optional Flights - To allow for maximum flexibility your flight arrangements are not included.
